1. Geolocation Data

MeltemiFree uses HTML5 Geolocation API solely when requested by the user to calculate physical surface distance to nearby beaches. Your GPS coordinates are processed locally in your browser and are never stored on our servers or transmitted to third parties.

2. Weather & Marine APIs

Weather forecast and sea wave swell data are retrieved from Open-Meteo REST APIs. No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent during weather API requests.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

MeltemiFree participates in affiliate marketing programs (including Ferryhopper and DiscoverCars). Clicking on affiliate links may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you.
